Does freezing affect quality?

No. When properly frozen, fish retains its flavour, texture, and nutritional value.

Where is your fish sourced from?

We source high-quality fish from trusted local and international suppliers to ensure consistent premium standards.

Do you sell fresh fish?

We specialise in flash-frozen fish, which is frozen at peak quality and often results in a more consistent product than “fresh” fish that has spent days in transit.

What fish do you stock?

Our range includes Salmon, Trout, Hake, Kingklip, Sole, and selected prepared fish products such as fish cakes and fish fingers. Availability may vary.

Is your fish cleaned and deboned?

Most products are cleaned, portioned, and ready to cook. Individual product descriptions provide full details.

Will my fish contain bones?

While care is taken during preparation, fish is a natural product and may occasionally contain small bones.

Is your fish Kosher or Halal certified?

Many of our products are certified Kosher and/or Halal. Please check individual product listings for certification details.

Storage & Preparation

How should I store my fish?

Keep all products frozen at -18°C or below until ready to use.

How long can I keep fish in the freezer?

Up to 12 months. For best quality, we recommend using within 3–6 months.

How do I thaw fish?

For best results, thaw overnight in the refrigerator. Avoid warm water or microwaving.

Can I refreeze fish once thawed?

We do not recommend refreezing fish once fully thawed.

Can I cook salmon in an air fryer?

Yes. Salmon cooks well in an air fryer, typically within 8–12 minutes depending on thickness.

Orders & Delivery

Do you deliver?

Yes. We deliver across Johannesburg.

Do you deliver outside Johannesburg?

We currently deliver within Johannesburg only, with occasional extended delivery runs announced separately.

How much is delivery?

A flat delivery fee of R55 applies across Johannesburg.

Do you offer free delivery?

Free delivery may be available during promotions.

How quickly will my order arrive?

Orders placed before 12:00 may qualify for same-day delivery, subject to availability and scheduling.

What are your delivery days?

Monday to Friday. We do not deliver on weekends or public holidays.

How is the fish delivered?

All products are delivered frozen in temperature-controlled packaging.

What happens if I’m not home?

Please ensure someone is available to receive your order. Re-delivery may incur an additional fee.

Can I collect my order?

We operate as a delivery-only service.

Due to food safety regulations, we cannot accept returns once products have been delivered.
